It is with a heavy heart that we have to share the news that the performances of Annie due to take place this week will not be going ahead.
Our friends at Stratford Play House, having taken the advice of the British Government yesterday and joining other theatres and venues across the country, have agreed that performances cannot currently go ahead.
We hope to reschedule Annie to 4 - 8 November 2020, there will be considerable work involved in getting this agreed but that is our intention. Accordingly, all tickets booked will be valid for the corresponding November performance, we do hope that most of you will join us then. However, if the rescheduled date cannot be made then a refund can be requested.
We’d like to thank everyone involved in Annie for all of their hard work, dedication, enthusiasm and love – each of you is incredibly talented and we have a wonderful show which we can’t wait to share later in the year.
If you were due to attend a performance, the Play House Box Office team will contact you directly. Please do not contact the Box Office as they are receiving a large volume of calls and will deal with your query as soon as possible.
Unfortunately, yesterday’s Government advice has also meant reassessing our plans for our Choir. We feel that in this current climate, we cannot in good conscience continue with rehearsals for our June concert. As this is an ever changing situation, we will of course be regularly checking for updates and will take all of those in to consideration with regards to restarting rehearsals and rescheduling the concert.
We know that many of you will be disappointed by this, but the health and safety of you, our members, is our number one priority.
Many thanks for your understanding, and we very much appreciated your patience and all of your support and best wishes.
